From the Ground Up Beer Release

Join us on Saturday, Nov 15 from 1-4 PM as we celebrate Southern Agriculture with a special beer release, beer & food pairing, and Fall Farmers Market! Our Culture Brewing, Tapped 33, and Wild Leap Atlanta have teamed up to brew a first-of-its-kind red rice lager using all Southern-Grown ingredients: Scarlett red rice from Two Brooks Farms in Sumner, MS, whole cone Cascade hops from Knox Hops in Knoxville, TN, and two varieties of Pilsner malt grown in VA and TN from River Bend Malt in Asheville, NC. From the Ground Up is a dry, crisp Red Rice Lager with fresh citrus and delicate floral notes. Enjoy the flavors of this beer to the fullest with a beer & food pairing class led by Certified Cicerone Michelle Turner, with dishes featuring local ingredients and the Scarlett red rice used in the lager, curated by Chef Leslie Gordon. Pairing Tickets are available for $25 here and include a pint of the From the Ground Up red rice lager collaboration beer, the pairing class, and three curated sample dishes! Brew For One: Fonio Lager

Creature Comforts Taproom 271 W Hancock Ave, Athens

Join Our Culture Brewing Co. and Creature Comforts in Athens, GA for the release of Brew For One Fonio Lager! This is a special collaboration brew benefitting the Michael James Jackson Foundation and highlighting ancient West African grain, fonio. There will be an hour long panel discussion at UGA's Delta Innovation Hub, followed by a tasting at the Creature Comforts taproom.

Hop City Beer & Wine – Seeds Take Up the Soil

Our Culture Brewing and Creature Comforts Brewing will be in attendance at Hop City Beer & Wine - Krog District on Friday, November 17, from 6-8 pm for a taproom takeover featuring our collaboration beer, Seeds Take Up the Soil, a sweet potato ale. About the beer: This beer features 200 pounds of locally sourced sweet potatoes, along with sorghum molasses, vanilla beans, and seasonal spices. The beer is 6.7% abv, but is pleasant enough to sip all season long.
